Henry Buhl Library at Grove City College
Ahead of Schedule

We're excited to announce that the Henry Buhl Library project at Grove City College is running three months ahead of schedule. The success of the project is owed to the collaborative efforts and support of the College, the architect PWWG, CJL Engineering, and our subcontractors. All have come together to advance this challenging and aggressively phased project, without compromising the level of quality and workmanship. The study areas have remained open and safe to students, staff and the greater community of Grove City throughout all phases of construction. Susan Grimm, interim vice president for Operations at Grove City College, attributes the accelerated pace to the "exceptional" work of Landau Building Company and Superintendent Cal Ruth. Stay tuned as the multi-phased project wraps up this August.

Community gathers for the
"Grand Opening of Library Park" in Carnegie
|
Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall hosted the Grand Opening of Library Park on Saturday, April 23, 2022. As the event sponsor and construction manager who built the park, Landau Building Company was excited to welcome the community onto the new grounds. Designed by the local landscape architecture firm, @LaQuatra Bonci Associates, the new park includes a meandering pathway lined with trees, benches, sculptures, and sidewalks connecting the Library & Music Hall with Carnegie’s central business district.
Project Manager Jen Landau and Superintendent Brian McNamara enjoyed attending the event and are very proud of the project knowing that it will make a positive impact on the Carnegie community. Pedestrian access to the historical library, it's programs and music hall have been greatly improved by the addition of the park and meandering walkway. Also, the beautifully restored building can now be seen from Main Street.

UPMC Matilda H. Theiss Health Center Pharmacy Relocation
Landau Building Company was selected as the general contractor for the UPMC Matilda H. Theiss Pharmacy Relocation project which was completed in March 2022. Designed by LGA Partners, the 5,400 SF interior renovation was built in two phases and within 6 months. The health center now has 7 patient exam rooms, a waiting room, consulting space, doctors' offices, and is outfitted with new equipment and a pharmacy. Located in the heart of the Hill District, the new space displays a colorful mural painted by local nonprofit ACH Clear Pathways.
The Matilda H. Theiss Health Center has a history stretching more than 100 years, with its initial focus being on behavioral health for children. It has since expanded to include a full range of medical services including primary, pediatric and OB-GYN care, as well as a pharmacy, nutritionist and other services.

Manufacturing Facility Expansion |
Landau Building Company has started Phase I of a tenant fit-out of existing space at Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., a publicly traded, storage battery manufacturing company. The 46,000 SF expansion project will create additional space for manufacturing Znyth™ aqueous zinc batteries and is located on the first floor of RIDC Keystone Commons Building S in Turtle Creek, PA. |

Life Sciences Company Fit-out |
Landau Building Company is in the initial stages of a 5,509 SF tenant fit-out for life sciences company Microbial Genome Sequencing Center, LLC, at the RIDC Chocolate Factory in Lawrenceville. The new space will include offices, research space, and a laboratory. Construction is on schedule to be completed the first week of July 2022. NEXT Architecture designed the facility. |
