Jean Hock Memorial Tournament at William Land GC
|
The 2016 Junior Tour Season ended with the Jean Hock Memorial Tournament at William Land Golf Course. Jean Hock left a legacy gift that helped support our mission and her legacy has and will continue to make an impact on the lives of young people in Sacramento.
Jean was a special lady with a big heart and a long time supporter of our program. We have been happy to hold this event in her honor for the past 14 years. It is always a special way to end the season at The First Tee of Greater Sacramento's home course.
This year, the Junior Tour had more than 300 boys and girls ages 10-18 participating in 22 competitive tournaments at variety of public and private host courses in our local area. Each tournament begins with different life skills lessons, that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices.
