How We Assist Families

Our Medicaid Support Process:
The scope of each Medicaid case varies greatly, so once you engage in our service, you will have a dedicated member of our Medicaid team with you every step of the way.
Before the application is submitted, and depending on the complexity of the case, we will assist with the following:
- Asset Protection
- Gifting/Spend Down Strategy
- Spousal Empowerment Solution
- Qualified Income Trust/Miller Trust
- Gathering all documentation required by the state Medicaid office
- You are assigned a member of our team who is with you through the entire process
We also help families obtain Medicaid long-term care at home, in assisted living facilities or in nursing homes. We explain the pros and cons of Medicaid’s different long-term care options such as Home and Community Based Services Waivers, Money Follows the Person, PACE, nursing home coverage and more. We determine an applicant’s eligibility and clarify what does or does not make them eligible.
If ineligible, we explore alternative pathways to qualifying and help clients take the financial steps necessary to become eligible, all while preserving family homes, assets and quality of life for spouses and children. We gather documentation, complete applications, manage complex family dynamics, handle Medicaid office communication and reverse denials.
Once enrolled, we ensure the yearly redeterminations are seamless and beneficiaries remain eligible and receive the care they require.
