Message from the PTO President
Dear VFES Families:

I hope you survived the snow and are staying warm!

We had a great Pizza Bingo night last week. Thank you so much for supporting your PTO events! I had the opportunity to meet many parents at the bake sale that night. Many of you have signed up for volunteering for events, however, we are looking for some enthusiastic and energetic parents to chair some of the Spring Fair committees.

Our after school clubs have been running smoothly and full. We hope your children are enjoying our parent-run clubs. Most of our after-school clubs are now run by parents, which makes me so proud! Thank you! We are now gearing up for our Spring clubs.

I hope to meet you at events. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, feel free to email me at [email protected].

Much love,

Rujuta Mandelia

Attendance Reminder

Prompt school attendance is vital to a child's learning and educational success. When students arrive late this creates a situation that is distracting to the educational process for the student who is late as well as the entire class.
Student arrival to school is scheduled from 8:25-8:45 a.m., and it is very important for students to arrive to school on time so they can feel ready and prepared for the day. Since school routines, announcements, and instruction begin at 8:45 a.m., students should be in their classrooms no later than 8:45 a.m. If you are dropping your child off, consider the amount of time needed in the parent drop off line in order to allow your child to be in his/her classroom no later than 8:45. Please note that there is no supervision in the lobby area before 8:25 a.m., and students should not arrive prior to 8:25 unless scheduled for ACP or a club/activity before school.
Thank you for your attention to this reminder and for working together to ensure that your child attends school in a prompt manner. If you have any questions or individual concerns, please feel free to contact me at 610-240-1601.

Best wishes,
Becky Wills
Principal
