Message from the PTO President
Dear VFES Families:

I wish you a very Happy New Year!! I hope you had a good break and kids are settled in school.

A few reminders at the beginning of the new year -

Please mark your calendars for VFES Parents Night Out on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 7pm - 11pm! We are so excited to hold this event. We would love some help with organizing. This event is being held after a hiatus of a few years. It's a trivia night with food and BYOB.

We have our VFES Facebook page all set up, where you will find reminders for school events, volunteer opportunities, and updates from the PTO. If you have not signed up for the Facebook page yet, here is the link:
Our clubs will be in session during the last week of January. We are extremely fortunate that our clubs get filled up as soon as we open registration. We hope that more parents will be interested in running clubs. So, if you are interested in running a new club in the Spring, please let me know.

Last but not the least, thank you for sending in your direct donations. These donations help with a lot of PTO sponsored programs at the school. If you would like you may consider supporting the PTO through direct donations. With VFES PTO's registered non-profit status of a 501©(3), your donation is 100% tax deductible.  Additionally, many employers consider PTOs eligible for charitable matching programs- doubling your donation. Please visit our website at  www.vfespto.org and click on "Donate."

Thank you!

Much love,
Rujuta Mandelia
