Message from the PTO President
Dear VFES Families:

I hope you had an amazing Spring Break! My children enjoyed some down time at home and with the weather being warm they played outside until it got dark.

Our Spring Fair committee members are working very hard to bring our children a spectacular carnival! Tickets are on sale now (I just bought my tickets!) and can be purchased online  here . Because it is such a huge undertaking, we are in need of volunteers who would work stations for an hour or more, if possible, during the fair. You can volunteer online here . You should have received your raffle booklet and Spring Fair program book in your child's red folder on Thursday. Please send in your raffle tickets as soon as possible. The raffle items are exceptional this year. My children have already identified what they need to "win".

The teachers are also hosting a "Volunteer Recognition Lunch" for all our volunteers between 11:15am - 1:00pm. Please do join us to thank our dedicated and remarkable teachers. I would love to meet you and personally thank you for volunteering!

As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

Much love,
Rujuta Mandelia
VFES PTO, President

PTO  News
The "Bee Man" will be here on May 9th for Third Grade!

This presentation has been sponsored by the VFES PTO, Cultural Arts committee.  We are in need of your help.  You do not need to have clearances to volunteer for this program.

The third grade assembly will take place from 9:15 - 10:15 AM in the cafeteria.  Parents are welcome to come to this assembly.

Following the assembly, there will be small group sessions for each class.  We will only need one hour of your time. Each class needs five volunteers to help with this program.  Volunteers will be asked to attend to small 45-minute stations set up by the "bee man."  The students will freely rotate among the stations.  If you are available to help during your child's assigned small group, please click  here.

Spring Fair Volunteers Needed

Preparation for this year's Spring Fair at Valley Forge Elementary School is well underway. No big/small event is a success without the help from the community and TESD community has been great over the years in extending help to make any event a success and fun for all.

This year too the event cannot be a success without your participation, help and support. We would thus like to call you all out to sign up as a volunteer for the event. If you are new and looking out to meet the community this the best opportunity and if you have been part of the community would need your support yet again!

There are plenty of opportunities/opening and you can choose options best suited to your interest and knowledge.  If you have a flair for decorations and want you use your skills; would request you to sign up for the days before the fair to help us and set the stage. If you can help us with games/activities/entertainment/food etc on the day there are still many many options.

Below is the link for signing up online for all the open positions we have on the day (May 5th) and the days before the Spring Fair :

Will look forward for your support and to online sign ups ASAP.  Please feel free to reach out to  Shilpa Gupta (Chair Volunteers),  [email protected] /  610-938-1733 for any suggestions/clarifications.
