Chanukah

The Yeshiva celebrated Chanukah with all its Ruach and fanfare.  The first night of Chanukah blasted off with the Yeshiva's Chagiga with music by Rav Naftali Abramson's band, Mo's Sufganiyot and Latkes, The Rebbe Connection Gameshow, and Stand up by our very own, Rav Zvi Herman.

 On 2 of the nights of Chanukuah, our Talmidim were invited to their Rebbeims' homes for a Chanukah Seudah.

Gedolim Trip

The Yeshiva took the Talmidim on a trip to visit many of the Gedolei Yisroel.  The trip began with visit to Rav Asher Weiss, who gave a short shiur to the Talmidim. Then the Talmidim visited Rav Yaakov Hillel, The Ponovesch Yeshiva, Rav Aharon Leib Steinman, and Rav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg.

Hachnasat Sefer Torah 

Mr. Jeff and Mrs. Ariella Schwartz, parents of current Talmid, Jon Schwartz, dedicated a Sefer Torah in Mevaseret.  The Rebbeim were honored with writing the last letters of the Sefer Torah.  The Talmidim danced for the new Sefer Torah with an incredible vigor.

Visiting Alumni

Over 40 of our Alumni visited the Yeshiva over winter break.  We are incredibly proud of the fact that so many of our alumni choose to spend their vacation break recharging their spritual batteries back in our Yeshiva.

Basketball in Golombeck's gym 

Besides the daily intramural games on the Yeshiva court, and besides the nights that we play basketball in the beautiful Mercaz Payis gym next to the mall, there is also the local gym.  The Local school gym was discovered almost 10 years ago by Avi Golombeck.  It has been revitalized and is in regular use again with late night basketball games for our Talmidim to enjoy.

 The Talmidim enjoyed an amazing Shabbat at the homes of their morning Rebbeim both in Yerushalayim and Ramat Beit Shemesh.

Yarchei Kallah 2012!!

Over 20 fathers (and some mothers) joined us for our 2nd Annual Yarchei Kallah.  We had special Shiurim throughout the week and a Tiyul to Ir David.  We enjoyed seeing the fathers shteiging in the Beit Medrash with their sons.
