Mount Vernon Highway and Johnson Ferry Intersection Improvements

This TSPLOST-funded improvement project will improve vehicular and pedestrian mobility and reduce congestion by alleviating the bottleneck conditions for east-west traffic on Johnson Ferry Road and Mount Vernon Highway and north-south traffic on Roswell Road. Both roads will be widened to each contain eastbound and westbound lanes. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in early 2024.

For project updates and the latest road closure information, please visit the Roadway Improvements page on the City's website.
