The discussion brought together business leaders and government representatives to explore how the country’s innovation ecosystem, highly educated and multilingual talent, and strategic time zone continue to attract international investment—especially from the United States, Argentina’s top market for knowledge-economy exports.
The event underscored Argentina’s commitment to innovation, openness to global investment, and a pro-market vision that strengthens its role as a trusted destination for business, creativity, and technological excellence.

Buenos Aires, City of Locations
| | |
On November 25, we were pleased to welcome the Minister of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, Gabriela Ricardes, authorities from said ministry, alongside filmmakers, producers, directors, artists, and journalists, for the launch of “Buenos Aires, City of Locations.”
At a key moment in Argentina’s economic recovery, with renewed confidence and a more investment-friendly climate, the initiative highlights the city’s global creative potential.
The City of Buenos Aires stands out as a world-class production partner: diverse architecture, competitive costs, top technical talent, and a vibrant creative ecosystem. It offers innovation, reliability, and a wide range of locations from historic streets to modern urban landscapes.
Promoting the city as a filming destination is both cultural and strategic: generating jobs, attracting investment, and positioning Buenos Aires as a global hub of creativity and innovation.
From New York, we continue our commitment to strengthen Argentina’s creative industries worldwide.

Consular services:
Online appointment system already available
| | |
As previously announced, the online appointment system is currently available for consular services that require RENAPER’s intervention—specifically DNI and passport applications. The system will be gradually expanded to include additional consular services.
For DNI and passport services, Argentine citizens must request their appointments exclusively through our website:
https://cnyor.cancilleria.gob.ar/es/turnos-online
We will continue to keep our community informed as we work to deliver faster, more innovative, and more efficient services that meet the needs of the Argentine community, in response to the sustained and growing demand for RENAPER-related procedures.
Due to the high number of missed appointments, we kindly remind citizens who have booked and confirmed a slot to arrive on the scheduled day and time. If unable to attend, please notify us in advance so that we may reassign the appointment to another citizen—helping us serve the community more effectively.

Magdalena Murua creates intricate collages from fragments of comic books like Hulk, Batman, and Archie, transforming them into abstract, geometric, and op-art compositions. From a distance, her works pulse with optical rhythm; up close, they reveal a dense network of perforated and reimagined cultural imagery. Her process balances precision and spontaneity. While invisible lines and golden ratios organize the surface, intuition and chance ultimately guide the final form.
As comic books, one of Murua’s childhood joys, fade as a cultural medium, she reclaims them to share that same sense of wonder and delight with others. In her hands, familiar fragments shed their original meanings, taking on new spiritual and playful resonance, becoming vibrant fields where nostalgia, structure, and imagination coexist (Adam Adelson)

Cloe Galasso's "Unfolding" solo exhibition presents a body of abstract work that draws on the principles of Chinese metaphysics, where emptiness and form, light and shadow, move in constant dialogue. Her canvases suggest not a fixed image but a state of becoming—shapes dissolving, energies unfolding, and fragments finding new coherence. What emerges is less a representation than a meditation, an invitation to witness transformation in its most elemental state.
The works carry a quiet intensity, asking viewers to pause and sense the cycles of rupture and rebirth at play within themselves. In their depth and abstraction, they point toward the universal: the courage to let go of what has been, and the mystery of what waits to take form.
Open through December

An unforgettable lyric night of
Argentine music
| | |

Tenor Miguel Silva Macías and pianist Jonas Ickert, both distinguished artists from Mar del Plata, brought to life a program spanning the delicate lyricism of Guastavino, the intimacy of Aguirre, and the unmistakable brilliance of Piazzolla.
