Energía Argentina S.A. invites national and international companies to participate in the public, national, and international tender for the execution of the first private initiative project concerning the national natural gas transportation system.
This initiative, declared of public interest by the Argentina's Government, involves expanding the transportation capacity of the Perito Moreno Gas Pipeline (GPM), which currently transports up to 26 million cubic meters of gas per day from Vaca Muerta (Neuquén) to Buenos Aires. The project also aims to incorporate new additional compression plants at certain points along the pipeline route and upgrading the current facilities.
Energía Argentina will formalize a 15-year transportation capacity reserve contract with the successful bidder, who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the GPM. Once this period is over, the new facilities will revert to the national government.

| | El Ceibo Potassium Project | | |
International trade in potassium has grown steadily over the past 25 years, and it is in this context that Argentina stands out for having discovered in 1975 one of the largest potassium deposits in the world, located in the Neuquén Basin, which extends between Mendoza and Neuquén.
The “El Ceibo” project proposes the extraction of potassium using the selective solution mining technique over a 71 km² area owned by CanCambria Exploración, subsidiary of Argentina Potash and Canadian mining company engaged in the exploration and development of potash resources in Argentina.
The project has a certified resource report prepared under Canadian standards (NI 43-101), published in December 2023. As a result, the project is ready to move into its development, construction, and production phase.

Consular services:
Online appointment system already available
| | |
The Consulate General team is pleased to announce that, after weeks of reorganization and transition, the online appointment system for consular services is now available.
As it had been already informed, in this first phase the system is available for consular services involving the intervention of RENAPER (DNI and Passports) to be later also available for additional consular services.
For consular services regarding DNI or Passports, Argentine citizens must request their appointment through our website:
https://cnyor.cancilleria.gob.ar/es/turnos-online
We will keep our community informed on the progress of this important issue in order to provide an agile and increasingly innovative service that meets the needs of the Argentine community with greater efficiency, taking into account the highly growing and sustained demand for RENAPER-related services.
Given the high number of no-shows, Argentine citizens who have requested and confirmed an appointment are kindly requested to show up on the agreed day and time of such appointment or, failing that, let us know in advance so that we can assign it to another citizen and thus speed up the process.

| Our National Day Celebrations! | |
On Friday 23, as the sky cleared out and the sun shined in New York, we commemorated the anniversary of the May Revolution of 1810, a special occasion to renew our pride and sense of belonging to our Nation, to sing loudly the verses of our National Anthem, and to collectively celebrate our Argentine identity.
Many thanks to all who joined us for the celebration of our National Day at San Martin's Monument in Central Park and at the Consulate General, our beloved "home away from home", where we were able to gather, celebrate, and share our traditions.
We also joined the celebrations with the Argentine community in New York and New Jersey, that also gathered hundreds of families that enjoyed a day filled with patriotic songs, dances and shows. A special mention to the Argentine School in New York for the fantastic and moving commemoration.
We thank and congratulate the organizers, the many artists who danced and sang tango, folklore, and Argentine rock, and, of course, those who provided the best barbecue and typical Argentine dishes for the families to enjoy!
¡Feliz Día de la Patria!
| | Congratulations to the new Argentine citizens! | | Business and Networking Breakfasts Series | | |
We continued our engaging dialogues with Argentine citizens from different sectors based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and (even!) Rhode Island who shared their stories and experiences in the U.S. and with whom we discussed common projects to elevate and promote our community while strengthening our relationship with the United States.
One of our breakfasts also brought together Argentine artists, gallery owners, curators and art professionals based in New York. They shared their stories and experiences in the U.S. and, together, we discussed ideas to position the Consulate's art gallery as an important player in the competitive local market and a platform to promote Argentine art. With their very generous collaboration and expertise we will continue to promote our art as an essential part of our creative industries with a view to contribute to the culture, economy and development of our country.
Don't miss our Business and Networking Breakfasts to meet our compatriotas, strengthen our relationships and help them network with each other. Argentina has very talented people, and when they get to know each other better, great things happen.
Our big thanks to Julia Justo, Mariana Naszewski, Jorge Mastropietro, Emerson Burla, Rosana Alvarracin, Daniel Muñoz, Maria Riestra, Syd Krochmalny, Josefina Vilela, Virginia Guevara, Justina Gómez Romero, Isadora Capraro.

"Modern echoes" by Luciana Levinton
The Consulate General of Argentina in New York presents
"Modern echoes", by Luciana Levinton
| | |
"In this exhibition of paintings, entitled 'Modern Echoes' inspirations arise from a research on the current of modern and contemporary architecture and design, the Delfina and Amancio Williams' House on the Stream in Mar del Plata, the work of Lina Bo Bardi in Sao Paulo, Eileen Gray's projects in Paris in the 20's, Charlotte Perriand, Athos Bulcao, Clorindo Testa and Le Corbusier, among others.
Through my painting, I seek to communicate and make some of these works known.
As an architect graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, each painting I present carries behind it a documentary research and together they cover an era, a body of work of an architecture of the Modern Movement, from the point of view of pictorial art" (Artist's statement)
The Exhibition can be visited until July 30 ,
Gallery hours from 9:00 - 1:00 pm / 2:00pm -5:00pm
12 West 56th St, New York, NY 10019

"Intangible Landscapes" by Mirta Gendin
The Consulate General of Argentina in New York presents
"Intangible Landscapes", by Mirta Gendin and curated by Carla Rey
| | |
"The landscape is an image in contemplation, a fleeting instant caught in reflection. Mirta Gendin captures its ephemerality and, through her creative process, transforms it into an open territory where light and form dissolve into new perceptions.
Mirta Gendin’s work mutates into vibration, into a weave of light oscillating between the real and the imagined. Each image is a threshold, a reflection that unravels and begins again, inviting the gaze to lose itself in its transformation".
The Exhibition can be visited until July 30.
Gallery hours from 9:00 - 1:00 pm / 2:00pm -5:00pm
12 West 56th St, New York, NY 10019
