| | Argentine contemporary jewelry at Jewelry Week | | |
Argentine artist and designer Ana Goris will present A Silent Alchemy at NYC Jewelry Week 2026, marking the first exhibition of her work in New York City.
From her atelier in Chacras de Coria, Mendoza, Goris creates brutalist-inspired wearable sculptures rooted in the geography and architectural history of the Andes. Each piece is one of a kind and handmade using materials such as reclaimed timber from century-old wineries, bronze, and Eco Stone, an ultralight composite she developed from Andean minerals, natural pigments, and recycled paper. Its lightness allows her to create sculptural forms that can be worn as jewelry.
Presented with In Heroes We Trust, The Jewelry Library, and The Alpaca Library by Yanawara, the event includes a reception celebrating Andean craftsmanship and an opportunity to meet the artist and discover her work.

Through paintings featuring organic forms, geometric lines, and vibrant colors, Gonzalez Lahmann evokes the distinctive landscapes and tones of the Puna, Patagonia, the Pampas, the Litoral region, and Buenos Aires. "The movement of matter"
by
Sonia BRAUN, Cecilia NIGRO & Laura Manuel
| | |
Matter is time in motion. Water changes form, clay preserves the imprint of a moment, and pigment settles and erodes, as if writing and erasing its own history. In this passage, matter retains something of what it once was and, through transformation, opens onto the possibility of what it may yet become.
Argentine visual artists Sonia Braun, Laura Manuel, and Cecilia Nigro work with diverse materials — water, stone, sand, pigment, and clay — to explore that unstable territory where matter, time, and memory meet and affect one another. Each, through her own language, considers how what changes can endure as the trace of an experience. Ceramics undulate, brushstrokes move, and photography shifts the gaze.
Presented by Vicky Alianelli, this exhibition brings together three perspectives on the tension between what transforms and what persists; between the impermanence of matter and its capacity to leave a trace.

Our little Argentine friends and their families enjoyed a joyful celebration, bringing the youngest members of our community together through music, fun, and a shared connection to Argentina.
The gathering also showcased Argentine talent and the international reach of our creative industries. Created in Argentina more than 15 years ago, Plim Plim has grown from a children’s animated series into a global entertainment brand spanning music, digital content, live performances, books, and licensed products. Spiritum Entertainment reports more than 47 million YouTube subscribers, with content available in 10 languages —a success story that illustrates the potential of Argentine creativity to reach audiences worldwide.
Hosting this celebration brought together two important parts of the Consulate’s mission: promoting Argentine creative enterprises in the U.S. market and creating opportunities for our community, across generations, to enjoy and connect with our culture.
