The New NMCN Website!
The Northern Maternal Child Network (NMCN) is one of six Regional networks established across the province and focuses on improving the maternal child (maternal, newborn, pediatric) health outcomes across the North. One of the Network’s key goal, to connect and coordinate providers, means to support local service delivery across the settings.
The NMCN has launched its very own website to create awareness, share resources/education, and keep the region up-to-date on the latest information.
Check out the different tabs on the site and let us know how we did. This site is to service the Northern Region's Healthcare providers. Please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions.
The Northern Maternal Child Network (NMCN) is excited to be recruiting Patient and Family Advisors to participate with one or more of the NMCN committees: the Steering Committee, the Maternal Newborn Committee, and/or the Child and Youth Committee.
We are seeking 4-6 people who:
Have or are currently accessing obstetrical health services.
Are a family member or caregiver of an infant/child that regularly accesses health services.
Represent the diversity of patients, caregivers and community members in Northern Ontario.
The NMCN values include engaging in a meaningful and genuine way with the many people who enrich the work of the network and keep the patient and family at the center of all we do.
We need your help to get the word out!
We are asking if you can:
