Dear Rich Township Family,
As we continue through the summer season, I hope everyone has had an opportunity to enjoy and reflect on both Father's Day and Juneteenth. These important occasions gave us time to celebrate family, honor our history, and recognize the values of strength, perseverance, and community that continue to guide us today.
I had the pleasure of joining many of our residents at this year's Man Cave Father's Day Luncheon. It was truly a wonderful afternoon filled with fellowship, great food, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Events like these remind us of the importance of creating opportunities for our residents to connect, support one another, and enjoy time together.
As we look ahead, I am especially excited that we are only days away from our United Under the Stars celebration, which commemorates America's 250th anniversary. I encourage all residents to join us on Saturday, July 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Olympia Fields Park District, located at 20712 Western Avenue in Olympia Fields. This free, family-friendly event will feature entertainment, food, vendors, activities for all ages, and an opportunity to celebrate alongside our neighboring communities.
At Rich Township, our commitment to serving residents remains strong. Whether through programs, services, special events, or assistance during times of need, we are dedicated to supporting our community and helping improve the quality of life for all who call Rich Township home.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you, and I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
