The History of Aubrey History Book The History of Aubrey is a 200 page book which documents the history of Aubrey and the surrounding communities from the mid 1800's through 1950. The History of Aubrey surprised everyone. The Aubrey Historical Society sold all of the first printing of the book within 3 � weeks. A second and final printing of the book was printed in January, 2013, and only 100 of the books remain available for sale. Members of the Aubrey Historical Society worked for 2 years gathering history and writing narratives of items of historical significance in the Aubrey Area's past. Reviewers have commented on the interesting stories, quality of the photos, and overall quality of the book. The book includes 200 pages, with 257 photos, 140 Aubrey area history narratives, and 83 family histories, prepared by 64 different writers. This diversity has contributed to the success of the book.

Bull By The Horns Written by J.W. "Skeet" Smotherman  The Aubrey Historical Society has republished a book originally published by the Friends of the Aubrey Area Library in 1994 which was a compilation of short stories about early day Aubrey Area and the residents and citizens. The book is hard back book with 170 pages containing 70 short stories. The book price is $25. It will be available for purchase at the Aubrey Peanut Festival on October 5, 2013. Playing Card Fundraiser  Playing cards with historical photos of the Aubrey Area is the next project for the Aubrey Historical Society. Photos will include early buildings and businesses of the area and photos of founding families
Playing cards will be available for purchase at the Aubrey Peanut Festival on October 5, 2013.

Aubrey Area Museum The Aubrey Historical Society has signed a lease on a building at 209 South Main Street in Aubrey. The organization is in the process of planning the organization and refurbishment of the building for the future museum
