Dear Rich Township Family,
As we come to the close of another year, I find myself reflecting with a full heart on all that we have shared together. This year has been especially meaningful as we celebrated Rich Township’s 175th Anniversary, honoring generations of service, resilience, and community pride. To stand in this moment, serving a township with such a rich history, is truly humbling.
I am also deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me. Your confidence is something I do not take lightly, and I remain committed to leading with integrity, compassion, and a sincere dedication to every resident we serve. It is an honor to continue this work alongside a committed Board, devoted staff, and a community that truly cares for one another.
Throughout this holiday season, we witnessed that care in action. From our holiday celebrations and community events to initiatives like the Holiday Check-In Campaign, we were reminded how powerful a simple phone call, visit, or word of encouragement can be. I encourage each of us to carry that spirit forward, to check in on our neighbors, our seniors, and our loved ones, not just during the holidays, but all year long.
As the year winds down, I also want to remind residents that Rich Township offices will be closed on December 25 and December 26 in observance of the holiday. During this busy season, please remember to take care of yourselves, rest when you can, and be mindful of your well-being and the well-being of those around you.
As we prepare to welcome a new year, I wish you and your families a holiday season filled with peace, warmth, and meaningful moments. May the coming year bring renewed hope, good health, and continued unity. On behalf of myself, the Board of Trustees, and the entire Rich Township team, I wish you a Happy New Year and a safe and joyful holiday season.
