Dear Rich Township Family,
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Fourth of July. It was truly a joy to participate in The Village of Park Forest Public Safety Fourth of July Parade this year and to see so many smiling faces coming together in celebration and pride. This month, we are excited to kick off the Rich Township Youth Empowerment Program (RTYEP) STEM Summer Camp, which will conclude with an unforgettable field trip to the EAA AirVenture Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This is a fantastic opportunity for our youth to learn and explore, and I encourage families to sign up soon since spots are limited.
Another highlight on the way is the Seniors' Ice Cream Social, a fun and refreshing gathering for our seniors to enjoy sweet treats and connect with friends. During these hot summer days, I encourage everyone to take extra care to stay cool and safe. Remember that the Township is here to support you. Our Senior Services Building serves as a cooling center on designated days, and we are always prepared to assist residents who may require additional support. I am proud of all that Rich Township continues to do for our community, from youth programs to senior activities and everything in between. Together, we remain dedicated to serving, supporting, and celebrating each of you.
