Northminster Church Family,
JK, Tiffany, JJ, and all of the youth would like to give a heartfelt thank you to aloof those who helped with the 1st Annual NMC Youth Murder Mystery Dinner. We would not have been able to pull this even off without the help of so many in the congregation. Thank you to everyone for helping decorate, move furniture, donating supplies, helping in the kitchen, and most importantly, showing up and participating. You all looked amazing! The generosity that is afforded to our kids and youth does not go unnoticed and most especially it does not go unappreciated! We cannot wait until next years production!
Much Love,
NMC Youth

SUNDAY YOUTH MEALS
(OR FUNDS) NEEDED!
The Northminster Youth Group meets each Sunday at 5pm and averages approximately 10 youth. Youth leaders try to stretch the budget to provide Sunday evening meals for them. There is a sign-up sheet in the hall for those willing to help provide actual meals such as sandwiches, pizza, tacos, burgers/hotdogs, chips, drinks, etc. Speak with JK Kimble or Beth Mayfield about what would be needed should you wish to provide an actual meal one Sunday evening.
Another great way to help with this, if you're not the "cooking kind", you may give financially. If giving cash, place in an envelope and mark it "Youth Meals" and if writing a check make payable to Northminster Church and memo line "Youth Meals". You may also use our Paypal account, Northminster Baptist Church and comment "Youth Meals".

HOLY WEEK BEGINS MONDAY!
(See the signup sheet in the hall for a food headcount)
As is tradition at Northminster during Holy Week, we will have lunch together with a short meditation presented by different members of our congregation. Our Hospitality commission always provides a most delicious lunch and dessert and we promise to have you out and back to work on time. Please join us any day or every day this week. We extend a special invitation to our newer members so that you can get to know a bit more about Northminster, its traditions, its members/friends and experience a true blessing during this most Holy of Weeks.

ARTS COMMISSION STARTS NEW GROUP!
The Education/Arts Commission invites you to join a new group called "Craft & Chat". This group will meet on Wednesday nights at 5:30pm to participate in assorted crafts. A new craft will be chosen for each month. The month of March we'll focus on crochet. Supplies will be provided, or you may bring you own. If you don't want to craft, we still invite you for fellowship!
We are planning to have different people volunteer to lead classes in different artistic mediums. If you have any creative gifts that you wish to share with the church, please sign up below by clicking the box or scanning the QR code with your phone. We want to focus on one medium for several weeks or a month, but you don't need to sign up to lead the entire month (just as much as you would like to lead).

AFTER CHURCH FELLOWSHIPS
Our after church fellowships have been well attended and have enabled us to get to know one another better. If you don't know, the refreshments are brought each week by volunteers via a sign-up sheet (we here at Northminster love our sign-up sheets!). This coming week, March 23 has been graciously covered by Vickie Krutzer but next Sunday (5th Sunday) and the first Sunday in April have yet to be spoken for. If this is an activity you have enjoyed and wish to see it continue, please think about signing up to provide refreshments. There will be no "After Church Fellowship" on Palm Sunday, April 13 or Easter Sunday, April 20 but we will pick right up where we left off on Sunday, April 27. Please see the sign-up sheet in the hall!

Northminster's Jo Ann Alley has volunteered to help facilitate the Racial Justice group if there is any interest. This group would be led by the interests of the participants, by a combination of book study, discussion groups, and videos that can either be watch together or separately and meet to discuss. We can learn much from each other about what racial justice is, and what it means to be antiracist.
This work cannot be done alone. If you are interested in either helping facilitate or participating in the group there id a signup sheet outside of Pastor Jillian’s office. Below are some suggestions for reading.
