Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer Announces $10M to Boost Southern Tier Clean Energy Manufacturing

New York Consortium Wins $40M from CHIPS Act

The funding for the New York consortium, which also includes the University at Albany, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Cornell University and IBM, is among the first grants to be awarded under the $52 billion CHIPS and Science Act authored by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer of New York and signed into law last year. Albany Nanotech is owned and operated by NY CREATES, a state-run nonprofit.
