STIP 2020 โ€“ Consultation forum for Indian diaspora
September 5
As a prelude to the main event in September, Sci-ROI is collaborating with the Government of India for open-to-all science policy discussion. We will discuss how the Indian diaspora in the U.S. and abroad can engage in the Indian Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy (STIP 2020) creation through conversations on brain circulation, mutual engagement, and enabling world-quality science in India.
Recruitment Week - October 2020
Sci-ROIโ€™s platform has enabled connections between reputable Indian institutions (IITs, IISERs, National Research Institutes, private educational and corporate institutions) and well-qualified researchers and professionals from U.S. academic institutions. Our in-person interview event in 2019 involved 75+ applicants who participated in 95+ interviews.
This year we invite you to join our virtual recruitment week in October to explore professional opportunities at eminent institutes in India and to engage in 1-on-1 interviews with their recruiting team.

Volunteer's Corner
My journey as a Sci-ROi volunteer has been really exciting this year. Not only have I enhanced my knowledge about Indian academic/non-academic research opportunities but also have developed professional/friendly connections in India and the US. Sci-ROI teamwork, Saturday meetings and all the fun part has kept me busy and encouraged during COVID times. Putting the newsletters together has developed my artistic and outreach skills.
I feel worth and motivated being a part of the team that is making efforts in the progress of Indian science and research. Sci-ROI gives me the opportunity to put my ideas into actions and take a step forward to help in the developments happening in Indian academia.
