NEW CAT TRAVEL PAK

LITTERBOX COMBO

It's all about our cats this month! NEW - Cat Litterbox Combo

Just in time for summertime travel. In the next couple of weeks, we will be launching our latest New Product.

Years ago I had to evacuate with my cat and was not prepared. She lived in my car for 3 days. I would come out regularly to walk her on a leash but she opted to potty in my car. I could never get rid of the smell.

When travelling with your cat it's important to have a cat litterbox, litter and scoop.

Our new travel pack comes with a large nylon collapsible, reusable litterbox, 2 pounds of litter and a 12' scoop.

Scoop similar to the one shown.

PET EVAC PAK in the News!

Hike For Hounds

RENO, Nev. June 2022 - Pet Evac Pak was invited to participate in a local fundraising event. While we had a booth to help educate on Pet Emergency Preparedness, we also gave away FREE "Save our Pet" Window Decals and collapsible water bowls.

Participants in the hike were guided through a 2-mile loop through the Sierra Nevada mountains near Lake Tahoe. Some were carried! All had a good time and the money raised went to the Canine Rehabilitation Center and Cat Sanctuary and Res-Que.

BLOG: HOW TO PREPARE YOUR CAT FOR A HURRICANE

Hurricane’s come with some warning but experts agree when you have pets you should leave at the first signs there is danger coming. If you live anywhere where hurricanes are a threat you know that the roads can get congested with traffic, with everyone trying to evacuate and you don’t want to be stuck in your car with a stressed-out cat.

More pets are being surrendered says the Seattle Humane Society

Trending across the country are Humane Society seeing more pets being surrendered. What is even worse is that shelters that are full are turning people away and many are being abandoned and dumped to fend for themselves.

According to the Seattle Humane Society, it's not because people are returning to work.  When they looked at the data they had collected it was due to increased levels of financial and housing insecurities.

Surrendering your pet should be your last resort.  When you get a pet it should be for the life of the pet.  Something to look into before you get to the point of rehoming or dumping your pet is that many Humane Societies have Pet Owner Assistance funds where they might be able to help with food or low-cost veterinary services.  There are other programs as well like Pet Food Banks and The Pets of the Homeless have pet food and veterinary services available as well.

Do your homework and check your local area for resources.  Our pets are counting on us to keep them safe.
