Dear Rich Township Family,
As we come to the end of November, I find myself reflecting on just how much we have to be grateful for. This season has a way of slowing us down just enough to appreciate the blessings around us, the people who stand with us, and the community we are so proud to serve.
This month, our Holiday Giveaway reminded me once again of the heart of Rich Township. Families came with gratitude, our volunteers worked with incredible dedication, and our staff showed the compassion that defines who we are. I want to thank our Food Pantry team and every partner who stepped up to support our residents during a time when so many are feeling the impact of SNAP reductions. Because of all of you, families walked away with dignity, care, and reassurance that their community truly cares.
I am grateful for my entire Rich Township staff, our volunteers, and the community partners who continue to support our work. Each of you plays a part in moving this Township forward, and I do not take your dedication for granted.
As the weather cools down, I encourage everyone to stay warm, stay mindful, and remember that Rich Township has programs and resources available if you or someone you know needs assistance. Do not hesitate to reach out. We are here for you.
I would also like to remind everyone about one of my favorite traditions of the year. Our annual Tree Lighting Festival will take place on Friday, December 5, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rich Township, 22013 Governors Highway. I look forward to seeing our families, children, and neighbors come together as we welcome the holiday season in unity and joy.
I am deeply thankful to serve as your Supervisor. This Township continues to show what it means to stand together, to lead with heart, and to care for one another. May this season bring you peace, warmth, and time with the ones you love.
