Dear Rich Township Family,
November is always a time that reminds me just how much we have to be thankful for. This season offers us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the people and moments that make our community special.
I would like to take a moment to thank our Food Pantry team, volunteers, and community partners for stepping up in a significant way as we continue to navigate the challenges of SNAP reductions. Because of their hard work and the support of our residents, families throughout the Township are still being served with dignity, compassion, and care. That’s what Rich Township is all about, coming together when it matters most.
We’re also grateful to have our Administrator, Trinette Britt-Johnson, safely back home after the hurricane in Jamaica. Her strength and resilience are a true reflection of the heart of this Township, and we’re thankful to have her back with us, doing what she does best, serving the people.
Earlier this month, we also had the honor of recognizing our veterans, the men and women who have given so much for our country. Their courage and sacrifice remind us that freedom is never free, and we are forever grateful for their service. As we move deeper into this season of gratitude, I encourage everyone to look out for one another. Check in on your neighbors, lend a helping hand where you can, and remember that together, we are stronger.
I’m truly proud to serve as your Supervisor and to be part of a community that continues to lead with heart.
