Dear Rich Township Family,

February gives us a meaningful opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and continue building community together. As we observe Black History Month, we are reminded of the legacy, resilience, and excellence that have shaped not only our nation, but our own Rich Township community. We are especially looking forward to our upcoming Black History Month History Makers Award Celebration, where we will honor individuals whose leadership and service continue to make a lasting impact.

I also had the pleasure of attending our Valentine’s Day Love Your Heart Luncheon at the Senior Center. It was truly a joy to see so many of our seniors gathered in fellowship and celebration. I am especially proud that we partnered with Walgreens to provide on-site immunizations and blood pressure checks, ensuring our residents had convenient access to important health services while enjoying the afternoon. The raffles brought plenty of smiles and laughter, and it was wonderful to spend that time together.

As the weather continues to shift during these winter months, I encourage everyone to take care of themselves and check in on neighbors and loved ones. Stay warm, stay active when you can, and make your health and well-being a priority.

I also encourage residents to continue taking advantage of the many services and programs Rich Township offers. From senior services and community events to outreach initiatives and supportive resources, our goal is to ensure that every resident knows there is a place here for them.

Early voting for the upcoming primary election has begun. If you need information about registering to vote or would like assistance, I encourage you to contact the Clerk’s Office to schedule an appointment. Your vote is your voice, and participation in the electoral process is one of the most important ways we shape the future of our communities. Every vote matters.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and our Constitutional Officers, thank you for allowing us to serve this great township. We look forward to continuing to work for you and with you throughout the year.
