Dear Rich Township Family,
As we close out June and head into July, I’m honored to share that I’ve officially stepped into the role of President of the Township Officials of Cook County (TOCC). It’s a privilege to represent townships across Cook County, and I look forward to serving in this new capacity with the same energy and commitment I’ve always brought to Rich Township. While this role expands my platform, my dedication to the residents of Rich Township remains as strong as ever.
As many of you are aware, the recent heatwave posed serious challenges for vulnerable members of our community. In times like these, we are reminded of the importance of showing up for one another. I remain committed to making sure Rich Township continues to provide critical support, from fan donations to cooling centers, to help keep our residents safe and cared for.
Looking ahead, I invite you to join us for Chamber Night on Wednesday, July 24, at Flossmoor Commons. It will be an evening of music, community, and celebration featuring local talent and special performances. Bring a chair, bring a friend, and join us for a night out with your neighbors. We’re also excited about the upcoming Rich Township Youth Empowerment Program (RTYEP) STEM Summer Camp launching in July, held in partnership with the Olympia Fields Park District. A new email blast with full details and registration information will be sent out soon, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox.
