The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission's (AICDAC) Recovery HUB has a primary goal of providing training and technical assistance to Recovery Support Services Providers throughout Region 6 and Region 7.
The Recovery HUB works with Single County Authorities (SCAs), Recovery Community Organizations (RCOs), Grassroots Organizations, and other providers to provide FREE training and Technical Assistance that serves to enhance, expand, and promote recovery supports in Western Pennsylvania.
Our service area includes:
Region 6: Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Cambria, Greene, Fayette, Indiana, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland counties.
Region 7: Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties.

is now available!
The Recovery HUB has compiled data from 2025 into a document to showcase how they have been providing training and technical assistance throughout the 22 county service area and the impacts their initiative is making. For comparison, we have added a link to access BOTH the 2024 and 2025 documents. The 2025 report contains a new section to highlight the increase of PCB certified recovery support professionals throughout the counties.

Waynesburg University received a grant from DDAP to support the SUD counseling workforce for their Master's in Addiction Counseling Program. The program is 100% online, tailored to adult learners, and provides stipends and tuition while in the program. The Recovery HUB has scheduled two online Lunch Break Q&A sessions with Dr. Kelley McNichols on May 27th and June 17th from noon until 1:00, for interested individuals to learn more about the program. Community Campfire Gatherings: Friends in recovery meet monthly (on the 3rd Friday at 7pm) at Too Far Out Farm in Crawford County to share experience, strength & hope around the campfire. Meet the horses, learn how they aid recovery and roast a marshmallow or two! This is a casual, country outing for the whole family. Bring your camp chairs and join around the campfire!

Mutual Aid support for deaf individuals is underway in Westmoreland County! An in-person ASL All-Recovery Meeting kicked off on April 12, 2026 at Sage's Army in Irwin. Meetings will be held biweekly from 1pm-3pm.
AICDAC Recovery Simulations are on the calendar!
The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission has scheduled Recovery Simulations in Clarion, Armstrong, and Indiana Counties. Everyone is encouraged to attend , especially people who interact with individuals experiencing SUD. The Simulations are free!
