The Boys' ECNL RL teams traveled down to Cincinnati this past weekend. They played against Cincinnati Elite on Saturday and Ohio Elite on Sunday. Saturday was a great showing with all teams winning with a shutout. Sunday was another great performance with all teams winning their games. Well done Boys!

A big congrats to the Girls' ECNL RL 2009 and 2010 teams competing in ECNL RL National event this past weekend. It was overall a great experience for the girls.

Amazing achievement from some of our players on the 2012 I team. Congrats to Abdul Tuychikhonov, Benton Shaffer, Bricen Banks, and Crosby Ackermann for being selected to the US Youth National Team ID Session!

Q: How many years have you been playing soccer? " I’ve been playing soccer for four years"

Q: What position do you like to play and why? "I like to play goalie because it’s exciting to try and save the other team’s shots."

Q: Why do you enjoy playing for Sporting Columbus?

"I enjoy playing for Sporting because I get to hang out with my friends."

Q: Do you have a favorite soccer team or player?

"My favorite team is the US National Team, and my favorite player is Messi. "

Q: What is your all-time favorite movie? "The Harry Potter movies. "

Q: What is a fun fact about yourself? "I’ve been playing soccer with some of my Sporting teammates since I was in preschool."

Congrats to Charlie Clutter for winning February GOTM. Great build up play starting with the goalkeeper. Charlie ended up finish the play with a great cut inside onto his left foot to finish it off the post and in. Well done!
