LEAP signature series by the Downtown Chamber of Commerce

"LEAP is a program designed by the Downtown Chamber," Jennifer said when she visited Iowa Live. "It started in 2015 and we designed it in response to a state-wide issue. Iowa was ranked last in the nation in regards to women in business and their economic impact...that's an economic issue. It was the perfect place for the Downton Chamber to step in and create some programming to help foster new women business owners and to help existing ones expand."

The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce announced that there keynote speaker for the 34th Annual Siouxland Chamber event will be Rudy Giuliani. The 107th Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani will deliver a speech called “Principled Leadership in the Face of Change and Crisis.”

Institute for Organization Management (Institute) is the premier continuing education experience for chamber professionals. Since 1921, the Institute program has educated and empowered chamber executives with the knowledge and skills they need to be leaders in their organizations and industry.

The Institute curriculum is comprised of four week-long sessions. Each session is five days and is offered at five locations across the country annually. With courses on topics such as advocacy, media training, membership, finance, legal issues, human resources, and much more, Institute ultimately educates participants on all facets of running an association. Hazeltine, city of Chaska welcome arrival of LPGA Championship

It’s been 40 years since women’s  professional golf  came back to Minnesota, but this week the LPGA Championship is coming to Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska...Jeff Flipek, the president of the Southwest Metro Chamber of Commerce, hopes the tournament will attract people to those nearby businesses.
World record attempt planned to celebrate opening of new Loop Trail

Sara Jespersen knows how to get things done. Jespersen is the Stillwater woman who led the effort to clean up the Main Street stairs in downtown Stillwater...It didn’t take long for Jespersen to persuade the others in the room that breaking the world record was “doable,” said Robin Anthony, the director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. “At first I thought she was overreaching, but it took me all of 5 seconds to realize, ‘It’s Stillwater. We are always up for a challenge,’ ” Anthony said.

A delegation from the Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce is heading to Omaha, Nebraska on Monday. The group includes Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke. This "inter-city leadership visit," as its being called, is a chance for leaders to learn more about what's happening in and around Omaha.

Pierre Chamber of Commerce disappointed with decision to move governor's hunt

The Pierre Area and Fort Pierre Chambers of Commerce are expressing disappointment that the annual Governor’s Hunt will be moved to Sioux Falls next year. Gov. Kristi Noem announced this week the event is being renamed the Governor’s Hunt and Sportsmen’s Showcase, featuring a public vendor fair, a public concert, and pheasant hunting in southeastern South Dakota.
