OKLAHOMA CITY DOCTOR OFFERS FREE "HATE RELATED" TATTOO REMOVAL FOR 2ND YEAR ERASE THE HATE OKC EVENT ON JULY 17TH
Clinton Webster is making it his mission to help men and women rid themselves of hate and gang related tattoos that they no longer want by hosting the 2nd Annual "Erase The Hate OKC" day for FREE tattoo removal.
Oklahoma City, June 3, 2020 - Dr. Webster knew that he could change a lot of lives by hosting a free tattoo removal day for people who had hate and gang related tattoos. But nothing could prepare him for the stories that came with every patient that walked thru the door in 2019. The life changing event made such an impact on his staff in him, that they decided to donate their time and efforts to host another free tattoo removal day. Erase The Hate OKC '20 will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Dr. Webster said this program has been a motivator for his clinic in more ways than they ever planned. "You know, all of us have made bad decisions in our lifetime. It's just that some of them aren't as obvious as a hate filled tattoo displayed across our arm or face. But we're in the business of second chances, so this day means a whole lot to my staff and me. That's why we want to do it again this year," said Webster, from his office located in NW Oklahoma City."

Webster said, "right now seems particularly appropriate to help people get rid of the hate and harm that these tattoos create. We see people who have changed their lives but their outward appearance hasn't recovered. Many of the patients that we've been able to help with this program would have never been able to afford this type of treatment. Many of the patients that we treated last year have changed their lives in other ways because they had the confidence to step out from behind their bad ink".

28 Tattoos ERASED in 2019.
Last year, the program generated almost 200 applicants and the office had the difficult task of narrowing it down to about 8 candidates they felt they could complete in a day. The list grew to 28 because the staff couldn't turn a few people away. Once they met the tattoo removal patients face-to-face, it was obvious that this had turned into a mission of love.

"We took a hate filled tattoo off the neck of a young mother who was afraid that no one would ever let her little boy have a playdate because of the way she looked. We erased drawings of devil horns that a young man got while in prison. A young man brought his mother with him to watch the removal of Nazi symbols that represented a time in his life that no longer existed. By all accounts, this is a life changing day - not just for the patients, but for our staff too," said Rebel Hudson, the laser technician who donated her time to remove each of the tattoos.

The one day event is just the start of the service provided by Dr. Webster and his staff. Most patients have to undergo about 6 treatments to have the ink removed. Six treatments is a small time commitment to invest in removing a lifelong symbol of hate.

Deadline To Apply: July 11th
People who want to apply should go to www.ERASETHEHATEOKC.COM for instructions. Applications are due by July 11th. Eligible tattoos must be hate or gang related. Once an application is received, instructions will be given on how to upload a photo of the tattoo for consideration. Dr. Webster said that the staff had pledged the time to do as many patients as can be reasonably done during the day.
