Shout out to Curtis Packaging, located in Sandy Hook, for their work to support the efforts of the area's most essential employees who are working to combat COVID-19. In a recent daily address to the State, Governor Ned Lamont mentioned Curtis as one of the manufacturers in CT, switching over production lines to support efforts to end the pandemic.

Curtis CEO Don Droppo, Jr. notes, "We are super busy trying to manage the new PPE program. We are pretty dialed in to CT and would love to get these to NY/NJ."

In a communication to the hard working Curtis Team, Droppo noted, " Tough times never last, but tough people always do! That is extremely poignant today. It takes a lot of getting used to with social distancing, masks, working from home, “teams” meetings and I couldn’t be more grateful your resilience!! I couldn’t be more proud of the way we have all faced this crisis head on. We have continued to address our customers' current needs all while keeping a very safe work environment."

Also of note, Curtis Packaging is commemorating their 175th Anniversary during 2020. Thank you to Curtis Packaging and everyone on their team for being such long time and valuable members of the Newtown/Sandy Hook community.
