Our next CCA Advocacy Committee Meeting is on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 9:30AM - 11:00AM. On January 11, 2022 we have a SPECIAL Training program for Volunteer CCA Advocates - see below!


At the Monday, January 10th meeting Jeanette Hensely and Rich Mauro will be reviewing what to expect for the 2022 Legislative Session and how the CCA Advocacy Committee needs to focus and position itself this year. They will also review the CCA Bill Sheet and how to use it to track bills. The CCA Bill Tracker is a service that CCA purchases from Capitol Watch. The Bill Report will be available on the CCA website by the Monday, January 24th meeting.

The webinar will provide an overview of state policies and will feature a national leader as well as leaders from Arizona and Colorado who will share their policies and innovations to strengthen the home and community-based services workforce.

CCA Advocacy Committee Meetings in 2022

Our first CCA Advocacy Committee in 2022 will be on Monday, January 10th. After January 10th, we will be meeting every Monday from 9:30AM to 11:00AM until the legislative session ends. The January dates are: January 10th, January 18th*, January 24th and January 31st. Note that sometimes meetings are cancelled due to Federal holidays or other events.


*Each year on the third Monday of January, we observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There is no CCA Advocacy Committee on Monday, January 17th to honor MLK Day.

We may be meeting on Tuesday, January 18th - stay tuned!
