Welcome to the Next Level Hospitality Brief! We are excited to introduce a new way for us to communicate and help drive compliance to our programs. The Next Level Hospitality Brief will be emailed to all company emails moving forward. The purpose is to keep everyone informed and on the same page about important subjects from each of our key departments while giving you global actions that are required to be implemented and followed.
Your Immediate Action Required
Disposable Gloves - New Required Vendor
Attention Culinary Managers: Next Level is changing the process for ordering gloves for our culinary locations. We will begin purchasing our gloves through Medline Effective 3/1/2022. You will notice a change on your order guide within DSSI. Please collaborate with the Next Level EVS partner in your building to align delivery dates, to ensure you can meet the free freight minimum of $250. Reference the “Glove Vendor” email distributed by Jordon Miller on 2.14.2002 for more details. This change will save NL $300K annually.

Medline on DSSI – One Click Ordering
Attention Environmental Mangers: Effective 3/1/2022, Next Level’s ordering platform through DSSI has now added a Medline ordering icon within your home ordering screen. This will completely replace your prior purchasing method of using Medline.com. All locations with EVS locations along with their managers should have received calendar invitations to specific online trainings over the next two weeks that will teach simple strategies on making the most from this new ordering platform. If you have not received an invite, please reach out to Jordon Miller directly.

Culinary News
The Culinary Council was organized late last year as a team to help enhance and improve our recipes and food programs. The council has successfully introduced eighteen new recipes that are being incorporated directly into your SNO menu cycles.

With the help of our DSSI partnership, we have also introduced a new order guide platform called OGM3. This platform is creating better consistency through overall standardization and compliance to our purchasing programs.

We also consolidated our snack order guides by 75%, chef-selecting products that are both better quality and more suited to our patients’ and residents’ palettes.

Did you know you can email the theculinarycouncil@nextlevelhs.net for new recipe ideas or complaints regarding your meals within SNO?

Did you know when new products are required, you can utilize the Next Level Culinary Order Guide Addition Request Form on the Manager’s Portal?
Procurement News
There is a new “Procurements Documents” section on the managers portal which will continue to provide pertinent documents for use or reference by the field.
Environmental News
Over the next few weeks, expect invoice pricing savings to hit all users on Georgia Pacific paper goods as the proper “Group Purchasing Organization” GPO contracts are aligned with Medline.

A more well-rounded formulary is in process of being formed for Direct Supply equipment as well as disposable products which will all be housed within DSSI. As this becomes more imminent, expect user log in emails to go out to any EVS managers whom do not currently have DSSI log-ins. Additional DSSI training will be provided to assure we are all using the tool properly.

One of our key objectives in 2022 is to guide everyone into more educated food budget awareness. As we continue to grow as a company by adding more new accounts and team members, it is becoming more judicious for us to provide the right tools for everyone to be most effective in their roles.

Next Level’s Food Production Road Map program has been strategically created to provide quick reference guides, webinars and hands-on training that will equip our team members with focused training, goals and action steps that if followed will financially improve our Culinary Departments.
