Hello!

March is a very busy month for DRDFS! We are busy working on a few events with the Class of 2022 but looking ahead to seeing/meeting you all in person in April at Eastern Michigan University for our re-scheduled Project Runway! More info to come on that soon.

If you missed the virtual GVSU campus visit last week - be sure to keep reading to catch up/watch the recording on your own time and complete the evaluation! We'd love to get your feedback.

As always, please feel welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns.

RESOURCE SPOTLIGHT: NACAC'S BEST FIT MATCHMAKING DURING VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIRS
Matchmaking is all about connecting you with your best fit college or university!

During registration for a NACAC Virtual College fair or event, you’ll be asked to choose from various college attributes you find attractive. These five attributes are:

  1. Campus Size (small, medium, large)
  2. Campus Setting (urban, suburban, rural)
  3. Majors Offered (a large list of categories)
  4. Institution Type (2 year, 4 year, private, public, etc.)
  5. Geographic Region (varied)

During registration, colleges also select which attributes apply to their institution. Students and colleges will be “matched” if their selected attributes match. The minimum number of matching attributes to be "matched" is four out of five. Click here to learn more about virtual college fairs.
