Hello!

DRDFS is looking forward to seeing you again next week (3/16) at University of Detroit Mercy for the Celebration Luncheon! As a reminder, UDM does still require masks on campus so please be sure to come prepared with a mask. As a general reminder: if you are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home and not attend the trip.

If you haven't yet completed the evaluation from last week's Leadership & Networking Workshop, please be sure to do that to avoid receiving an absence.

Lastly, keep reading to learn more about dress code for next week. Please reach out ASAP if you need assistance in obtaining any of the required dress code items.

As always, please feel welcome to reach out with questions/concerns.

HAPPENING NEXT WEEK: CELEBRATION LUNCHEON AT UDM ON 3/16!
Next Wednesday, March 16, 2022, seniors from the Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars program will participate in a leadership etiquette refresher session with Jacqueline Baker. Following the refresher course, students will attend the 9th Annual Celebration Luncheon at the University of Detroit Mercy! This is a day to celebrate your hard work with the network of Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars! Curious about what to expect? Check out this video from the 2019 Celebration Luncheon.

Please be sure to review the dress code above. I know some of you needed to swap out dress shirts at the last event but if you do not have the needed items (black pants/black shoes), please reach out ASAP so we can help provide what is needed!
REMINDER: COACH D'S ONE-ON-ONE CHALLENGE/FAFSA SAR SUBMISSONS!
Hello Class of 2022 Next Level Scholars!

It was great to see everyone in one spot last week!!! There’s been a huge influx 1:1 appointments scheduled since we spoke and I’ve had a great time speaking with you and learning more about your plans. These are the last few days to get scheduled before the contest ends! I would tell you who is winning but I want it to be a complete surprise! The winners will be announced at the Celebration Luncheon next week. Keep up the good work! We’re almost at the finish line! See you all next Wednesday!
