Hello!

As you may know, next week DRDFS is celebrating the Class of 2022 at our 9th Annual Celebration Luncheon! We'll feature each of you and your schools in a video from when we came out to film each high school in February. This is a super exciting event and something you have to look forward to in your senior year!

In the meantime, keep focusing in school and utilizing the resources in this newsletter! Please also remember that you have access to your SAT Prep course in your TPR portal. Maybe you can commit to studying for 5 minutes each day between now and spring break? Then build up to 30 minutes or more, including reading or other forms of studying. Whatever you do, we know you will be successful!

We are always here to support you as you prepare for life after high school, so please feel welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns.

ICYMI: NACAC'S BEST FIT MATCHMAKING DURING VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIRS
Matchmaking is all about connecting you with your best fit college or university!

During registration for a NACAC Virtual College fair or event, you’ll be asked to choose from various college attributes you find attractive. These five attributes are:

  1. Campus Size (small, medium, large)
  2. Campus Setting (urban, suburban, rural)
  3. Majors Offered (a large list of categories)
  4. Institution Type (2 year, 4 year, private, public, etc.)
  5. Geographic Region (varied)

During registration, colleges also select which attributes apply to their institution. Students and colleges will be “matched” if their selected attributes match. The minimum number of matching attributes to be "matched" is four out of five. Click here to learn more about virtual college fairs.
RESOURCE SPOTLIGHT: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDCUATION - COLLEGE SCORECARD
The U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard provides students and families critical information to Search and compare colleges: their fields of study, costs, admissions, results, and more! Get started with your search here and start building/expanding your college list!
