NEW: FINANCIAL AID AWARD LETTERS - PART 4
Welcome back to the Next Level Scholars Financial Classroom for part 4 of the Financial Aid Award Letters series. In this part of the series, we're gong to talk about how to determine best "financial fit" now that you have determined your "gap" or "net cost" to attend each of the schools you have been accepted to! NEW: MSU EXTENSION PRESENTS ADULTING 101
This exciting series of Adulting 101 is being offered for high school youth to help prepare for life on your own.

Different session topics will be offered on Wednesdays in May starting at 4 p.m. ET. Each session will last approximately an hour. 

  • May 5 - Resume Writing: Join us for a presentation that includes the basics of resume writing. Topics including formatting styles, how to catch an employer’s eye, what not to include, writing tips and tools.

  • May 12 - Public Speaking: This workshop helps participants learn the best practices of public speaking.

  • May 19 - Living on Your Own: The Informed Renter: Identify benefits and negatives of renting vs. buying a home and affordability.

Center Line’s High School’s Fundraising Week is off to a great start, and runs through Friday! Keep an eye out for the Special Fundraising Editions of Next Level News this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Remember the student who raises the most will win a gift card.

Fundraising Week for Melvindale High School starts next Monday, May 10th! Stay tuned later this week for more information.
