NEW: TIPS FOR MANAGING YOUR UPCOMING SENIOR YEAR - PART 1
"Hi everyone! I’m Rebecca Smith, a new intern here at Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars who has been working closely with Marissa on the newsletter content. As a soon to be graduating senior, I have some hopefully helpful advice to give you all, about everything from college applications, to decision day. Over the next couple weeks, I’m going to be sharing my personal advice on senior year...mostly the things I most wish I’d known. Below you’ll find a quick summary of all of the topics I’m covering this week, but click here to read in more detail!"

  • The balance between school and college applications is hard. How can you make this easier, and less overwhelming?

  • Letters of recommendation are so important, but how do you select among your teachers who will write them? How do you ask them?
COMING THIS WEEK: END OF YEAR PROGRAM SURVEY
We want to hear from you as we close out the school year. Look out for a personalized email with a link to an end of year survey. Your responses are confidential and will be reviewed to help us plan programming for next year and to better support you.

If you would not like to participate in the survey, please contact the Next Level Scholars Program Director, Jill Marecki at jmarecki@drdfs.org.
