And in case you were keeping track, the sophomore class had the highest engagement rate on the last newsletter! Can juniors top them this week? Keep reading and interacting--we can't wait to see you in person, but appreciate you connecting with us while we are apart.

DFS Alumni Share Why They Applied to WSU

Currently there are 21 DFS Alumni attending Wayne State University and 6 graduating seniors planning to attend. WSU is always a popular choice. Here's what 2 alumni had to say about why they chose to be a Warrior:

"I mainly chose Wayne State based on how close to home it is for me...the environment is also unique. It is a fun experience to go to school in the middle of Detroit and I have been able to join clubs and I cheer." -Emily E., Melvindale Class of 2019

"I chose Wayne State because of its uniquely diverse campus. Not only do I love being so close to the city, but Wayne offered a diversity that I couldn’t find anywhere else. The class sizes are often small which offers a great learning environment and a plus for me was that the dorms were spacious and had air conditioning and their own bathroom!" -Riley B., Berkley Class of 2018

We'll share more info from DFS alumni in the recap newsletter -- stay tuned!

On the Wayne State Visit Pre-Survey, we asked what schools you were most interested in. We'll be using your responses to create future campus visit experiences for you to explore.

One of the top rated schools from our survey was Eastern Michigan University. Did you know that 23 DFS Alumni are currently attending EMU?

If you're interested in learning more about EMU and taking a virtual tour of their campus, EMU admissions is holding live campus visit presentations this week:

  • Do you know the difference between Credit vs. Debit? MSU Extension is hosting a webinar this Thursday to highlight the topic and cover the basics on keeping your finances in order. Check it out here. There are also more student webinar opportunities available on this calendar.
