Are you interested in participating in our Post Card Project?
By the end of this week, you can take a bag of 25 postcards (see postcards above), with stamps and the addresses of families to send cards to one of our precincts. The suggested donation is $10 to cover only the cost of the stamps.
Phone calls continue for Vote by Mail

There is a new script for our Incentive Grant on the Florida Democratic Party website. Your local party benefits financially if we make 1,450 calls during a month. If you click on www.floridadems.org/phone-banking/ then click on the box for St. Johns County, you will see the new script and can begin making calls. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the new script before you begin as you may wish to rephrase it in a way more natural to you

If you have not previously made calls, you may have to create an Action ID in order to participate. You can set one up yourself by following the instructions on the website. If you have a problem, don't hesitate to contact Diane Abell at: [email protected] or 904-827-3456 to walk you through the process.

And you will need to know the telephone number of the St. Johns Supervisor of Elections Office when making the calls: 904-823-2238

Registered voters can also sign up online for vote by mail, or to view their voter information at: votesjc.com and by clicking on the My Voter Status button.

St. Johns County Seeks More Democratic Poll Watchers!
The St. Johns County Voter Protection Team is excited to announce that we have created a St. Johns County Poll Watcher Training Class based on our Poll Watching observations during the August Primary! We observed very aggressive Republican Poll Watchers in several of our precincts so need to get ready for more in November.

If you are interested in being trained to be a Poll Watcher during Early Voting or on Election Day - please sign up!  We are going to begin offering our St. Johns County training via zoom on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings during October. This will be the only training that you need to do as our training incorporates the other training being offered by the Florida Democratic Party. The absolute deadline to sign-up for training is October 15, 2020.

The link to the Sign Up Genius for training is:

If the dates/times listed don't work - please contact the SJC Voter Protection Team at [email protected] and they will get something scheduled as we need everyone ready to go on November 3!  Once you have signed up - you'll receive a zoom link a few days prior to your training.

Finally, if you have a Democratic friend who'd like to volunteer as a Poll Watcher, please feel free to forward this information and encourage them to return the Poll Watcher Information Sheet (linked in blue) and sign up for training. And the team will need the information sheet as well for all volunteers
