Rabbi Goldberg teaches about Torah, 2019
|
The 10-week, second term of the Jewish learning program for children ages 7-11 meets on Sundays (10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.), beginning January 2020, at a central location close to the University of Toronto. An optional Hebrew-language component is available from 9:15-9:45 a.m. In our inter-age class, we strive to build a caring community of learners who are deeply connected to each other, Jewish traditions and their relevance to contemporary life. Children who have had minimal or no formal Jewish education, or for whom this may be a first learning experience, are welcome.
We will be accepting registrations for the winter/spring session in early December. The fee is $595 ($613 by Paypal) but we will be offering an early bird fee of $495 ($510 by Paypal). Space is limited, so please register early. A 5% sibling discount is available for families who have registered at least one child at full fee either in the winter/spring school session or the 2019/2020 Bnei Mitzvah Enrichment sessions. Click here to email our administrator to request the registration link and school calendar as soon as it becomes available.

Yossi"

The 519, 519 Church St, Rm 201 (Room subject to change; check monitor on arrival.)
This film is the sequel to the breakthrough Yossi and Jagger about two men who fall in love while serving together in the Israeli army. This film picks up the life of Yossi ten years later. The film follows him as he opens up about his past love and finds new meaning in his life. (Director: Eytan Fox, Israel, 2012) The film will be followed by a Q&A session.
Admission is free (donations welcome). Light snacks may be brought into the venue. Planning to attend? RSVP to
[email protected] (not required but appreciated). This is the third film of our six-film
series.
