Provide Your Feedback on Pure Water Southern California
Next Step for Pure Water Southern California: Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Scoping Phase
Pure Water Southern California is taking the next big step forward by initiating its environmental review process, which begins with a "scoping" phase. And we would like your input.
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts want your feedback on how Pure Water Southern California could affect your community and the environment. The scoping phase provides an opportunity for you to learn more about Pure Water Southern California and provide your comments. The scoping comment period ends on Monday, Nov. 14.
This program would increase Southern California’s water reliability by purifying and recycling water that currently flows to the ocean, producing up to 150 million gallons of water daily.
