July 14, 2021
Dear Students:
The full COVID-19 Vaccination Policy can be found at this link. We encourage everyone to read the policy thoroughly. Several important points are outlined below:
-
Vaccination is Mandatory: Except for those who are provided medical or religious accommodation in advance, all members of the Trocaire community, including students, faculty, staff, contractors and on-site vendors, are required to be fully vaccinated prior to Monday, August 30, 2021 (the start of Fall 2021 classes). Those who are not vaccinated or don’t have an exemption granted by this date will not be permitted to attend classes at Trocaire.
-
Proof of Vaccination: Students should submit documentation of their vaccination status by uploading a copy of a completed vaccination series to CastleBranch, the college’s new, secure health record management system. Vaccination cards or immunization records from your medical provider are acceptable forms of proof. If you received a vaccination but did not receive or have lost record of your immunization, please email WellnessCenter@trocaire.edu for assistance.
-
An additional email introducing CastleBranch will be delivered to all students tomorrow, July 15. Please click here to create your initial CastleBranch account, or here to login to your account.
-
Accommodation Request: If you would like to request a medical or religious accommodation to the vaccination requirement, please submit the request via email to Jan Peters, Chief Human Resources Officer at PetersJ@Trocaire.edu. Exemptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The deadline to submit proof of full vaccination is prior to Monday, Aug. 30, 2021. Requests for exemptions must be received well in advance of that date to provide appropriate time for a review of the request.
Visit our Fall 2021 Resources page for additional information and resources as we prepare for the start of the fall semester.
If you have any additional questions related to the Vaccination Policy, please contact Dr. Richard Linn.
Thank you,
Richard T. Linn, Ph.D.
