Wednesday, Dec. 7, is our 3rd live webinar in the Unraveling Dyslexia series. Join us to take a closer look at Video 3: Dyslexia & the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. This video explores the relationship between dyslexia and services offered under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. The video is organized around common questions that arise when discussing dyslexia and the law.
The International Dyslexia Association Georgia, The Reading League Georgia, and the Georgia Department of Education are partnering to bring you this third "Unraveling" webinar as part of a series of 4 live webinar events. The webinars are FREE and OPEN to all. Certificates of Attendance will be available for those registrants who complete a post-webinar knowledge check/survey form. Can't attend the live event? No worries. All registrants will be sent a link to the recording with an opportunity to receive a COA.
To learn about all four of the webinars in the "Unraveling Dyslexia" series and to view the recordings of the first two webinars, go to GA.dyslexiaida.org/2022-unraveling-dyslexia/.
The four-part GaDOE Dyslexia Video Series was developed through a partnership between the Georgia Department of Education and the Mary Frances Early College of Education at the University of Georgia. In each of the Unraveling webinars, Dr. Sayeski “unravels” the content presented in each video. Dr. Sayeski and Dr. Lindstrom then answer questions to further clarify the information presented and provide guidance on how best to support students with dyslexia in the school setting.
You will be invited to submit a question for Dr. Sayeski and Dr. Lindstrom when you register.
