SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

This seminar, Advancing the Real Estate Appraisal Profession: Governance, Growth, and the Future, will explore the essential elements of effective professional governance and the delivery of appraiser services at both the local and national levels. Participants will examine the Georgia Appraiser Act to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization, while also discussing strategic initiatives that can elevate the profession across state and local jurisdictions for all users of appraisals. The program will further address practical approaches for recruiting, developing, and retaining the next generation of real estate appraisers, offering forward-looking solutions to strengthen the profession’s capacity and long-term viability.
