Celebrate 19 years of advancing research with the
CTSC of Northern Ohio!
Translational Science Week 2026 (Sept. 14–18) is a week-long celebration honoring 19 years
of the CTSC of Northern Ohio and this year’s theme, Champions in Research.
Throughout the week, CTSC partner sites will spotlight champions whose work reflects the breadth and impact of translational science through webinars, campus visits, and special events.

The CTSC is offering eligible investigators, researchers, and study staff the chance to enter a special Translational Science Week 2026 giveaway for time on the Mobile Research Unit (MRU). Open to CTSC members, this giveaway supports the important work of the growing Northern Ohio research community.
Prizes include:
- 1st prize: Full-Day (8 hour) MRU Package
- 2nd prize: Half-Day (4 hour) MRU Package
Entries can be submitted via the REDCap form beginning Monday, September 14, 2026 (12:00AM, EST), through Friday, September 18, 2026 (11:59PM, EST).

This session will explore how pilot support moves innovative ideas forward, the lessons learned from conducting translational research, and the importance of investing in emerging research and investigators to lay the groundwork for future breakthroughs.

The CTSC offers resources and support for every stage of the research process, from funding and study activation to data analysis, dissemination, and publication. Whatever your research needs may be, the CTSC has resources and expertise to help. University Hospitals-based administrators and project managers will be available to discuss your research goals and provide information about available services and resources.

Learn more about the 2027 Annual Pilot RFA at this year’s CTSC Annual Pilot Technical Webinar. Investigators will learn about funding opportunities up to $50,000 per award, program priorities, eligibility requirements, and the two-step application process for submitting a Letter of Intent. ELEVATE: Advanced Clinical Research Symposium
This collaborative CTSA Network event for advanced Clinical Research Professionals will bring together three Ohio CTSA programs, Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Cincinnati.
