We are sharing the following information about an upcoming I-80 Clean Fuels Corridor Event happening August 16th, 9am – noon at WIU Quad Cities Campus in Moline. This event is also going to be available virtually.

When the I-80 Clean Fuels Corridor is complete, electric vehicle (EV) charging will be available at least every 50 miles and compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling will be available at least every 150 miles, giving EV and CNG drivers confidence on the road.

While the I-80 Clean Fuels Corridor extends from New Jersey to the Iowa-Nebraska border, this session is for Illinoisans and Iowans who want to know more about the project, funding availability, and other opportunities associated with it. Potential attendees include:

  • Fuel providers
  • Potential site hosts (e.g., convenience stores, fueling stations, hotels, travel destinations)
  • Municipalities, metropolitan planning organizations, and councils of government
  • Energy, transportation, and sustainability officials
  • Utilities
  • Fleets using, or open to using, alternative fuels
  • Community members
  • And others

If you’re interested in attending the session, please register below. Space is limited; the 90 seats available will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis, but attending virtually is an option (select when you register).

If you are driving an electric or CNG vehicle to the event and would like to display it, please indicate so in your event registration.

Feel free to pass this on to others who may be interested in this session.
