The return of... lots of things

The last year has been full of so many surprises and challenges that it's impossible to list them. What that means for the Listerhood is that our activities and especially our content output have been quite... low-key.

With the start of a new season, we'll be starting back with some of our familiar programs, such as this newsletter and a schmooze with date TBD, as well as some new offerings that we'll be announcing when the time is right. We're starting the new arts year from right here, wherever that is. Here's hoping that wherever you are, you'll join us for a shindig or two.

See you soon,

For the first time ever, Pacific Opera Project (POP) presents a mashup opera of everybody’s favorite fairytale: Cinderella! Taking the best music and funniest scenes from both Massenet’s Cendrillon and Rossini’s Cenerentola, and adding in a little bit of POP magic, POP’s Cinderella Story tells a young girl’s whirlwind love story from housemaid to princess. With twists, turns, and tricks at every corner, and featuring a handsome prince charming, two very evil stepsisters, and an overly dramatic king, this hilarious new take is bound to leave you feeling “happily ever after!”
