Southern California Vocal Events thru October 24, 2024

LinkedIn Share on LinkedIn

We're well into spooky season, and hopefully this year's pumpkin-themed goodies are treating you well as the weather finally shifts. This week includes some choice offerings, including an extra-seasonal presentation of the beloved G&B Ruddigore in Ventura County (available streaming this weekend!), Russell Thomas is doing a recital on Saturday in the IE, and our own Christina Whitten Thomas is leading a choral concert/Evensong on Sunday that is loaded with Listers and works by two other local composers -- Matthew Brown, and a world premiere from Julian Van Eyken. LACO starts their season with three concerts in three locations that all include powerful baritone Thomas Bauer. Finally, don't miss the Wednesday afternoon public masterclass with the amazing Patti Austin at USC. Here are the details on these and more... happy listening!
