Dr. Mark Hudson to Deliver Keynote Address at AACD Perioperative Leadership Summit

In an exclusive honor, Mark E. Hudson, MD, MBA, FASA, our Executive Vice Chair, Vice Chair for Clinical Operations, and Vice Chair for Clinical Business Development, will deliver the Jason S. Lane, MD, Leadership Keynote Lecture, “Operational Efficiency: Life in the Fast Lane” at the Association of Anesthesia Clinical Directors (AACD) Perioperative Leadership Summit. The Summit will be jointly provided by the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the AACD on March 22-24, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr. Abigail Hellman Awarded AHA Fellowship for Research on Oxytocin and Heart Disease

Congratulations to Abigail Hellman, PhD, a Postdoctoral Scholar in the research lab of Dr. Aman Mahajan, who has received a $147,292 fellowship award for her project “Oxytocin Receptor in the Spinal Neuraxial Modulation of Ventricular Excitability” from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Laura Wiggins to Receive 2024 Penn State Nursing Alumni Achievement Award

Laura Wiggins, DNP, MSN, CRNA, Lt. Col. (retired), UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, has been honored with the 2024 Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing Alumni Achievement Award. The accolade, presented to outstanding graduates actively engaged in the healthcare sector, acknowledges Laura's significant impact on the industry.
