Designed to deliver bite-size news on what’s happening, when it's happening and where it’s going down, Nexus will be published every quarter. If you have news to share, we want to hear it. The publication deadlines are detailed below. Send any information you want shared to [email protected] .
New Digital Platform for Alumni Network

After a detailed study period and vendor assessments, work has started on the new P&G Alumni Network digital platform.
 
The new platform will be launched in November 2018 and represents the most sweeping reformation of the Network’s online presence in its history.
 
Enterprise Alumni, the California-based technology organization that already manages alumni platforms for organizations including SAP, Lufthansa and Nestle, and will create a seamless online experience for alums on mobile, tablet and desktop.
 
The new platform will be fully searchable and include many, many new services for alums. Stay tuned and let us know how you like our new look later this year.
2019 Global Conference
The spectacular and historic city of Madrid will be the venue for the 2019 P&G Alumni Network Global Conference.
 
Block off your calendars for October 25 – 27, 2019, make your travel arrangements and get ready to meet old friends again as the network gathers for its biennial celebration.
 
We will be bringing you specific details on booking information, pricing and agenda over the coming months.  
Happy Birthday China!
More than 500 alums gathered in Guangzhou in August to celebrate the 30th anniversary of P&G in China. The day-long event attracted not just the current P&G China President, Matthew Price, but distinguished alums who are now leading entrepreneurs in China including from businesses such as Focus Media, Xiaopeng Motors and Daddy’s Choice. The China chapter now has more than 3,000 members and is one of the largest organizations of its kind in the country.
Americas Chapter Leadership Summit
The first America’s chapter summit is being held in Atlanta on September 11. The summit brings together a total of 21 Chapters - 80% of all North and Latin American Chapters - for a day-long discussion on how to increase engagement across Chapters, share best practices, build relationships, review new Network assets and the Chapter Growth toolkit. The event is being hosted at and sponsored by EY’s Atlanta office.

September 11, 2018 – Dinner and an evening with EY Partner, Maria Pinelli, who will talk on Growth and Innovation – The 7 Key Drivers of Growth. The evening begins at 6pm and will be held at the EY office, 55 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NE, Atlanta.  
- CINCINNATI CHAPTER -
September 12, 2018 – Presenting Mary Lynn Ferguson-McHugh, 
P&G's Group President Family Care and P&G Ventures. Mary Lynn shares lessons on leadership and business.

- SAN DIEGO CHAPTER -
September 14, 2018 - Lunch at True Kitchen, Westfield University Town Center (La Jolla) at 12.30. 

- BOSTON CHAPTER -
September 20, 2018 – Gillette and Venus Marketing Director, Pankaj Bhalla, will be the guest of honor at a TED-style talk at GSV Labs, 2 Lafayette Avenue, Boston, starting at 6pm.
- WASHINGTON, DC CHAPTER -
September 24, 2018 - The chapter will hold its next meeting at Fire and Sage in the Washington Marriott, Metro Center, starting at 5.30pm. Please send Jeff Adler an email at [email protected] if you plan to attend.

October 3, 2018 NYC Chapter is presenting "Storytelling in the Age of Equity" of part of the Advertising Week New York, in collaboration with EQUITY Project For All . Alums attending the week-long even t are encouraged to swing by to the panel event on October 3 on the Univision stage. - INDIA CHAPTER -
October 6, 2018 – Learning & Networking Conference 2018 at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai.
- MEXICO CHAPTER -
October 18, 2018  – A new chapter for the P&G Mexico General Offices begins. Come to our annual PG Alumni Reconnect event now hosted by P&G Mexico at their brand new offices in Interlomas. 
- BRAZIL CHAPTER -
October 23, 2018 – Brazil chapter Annual Event is taking place. Details 
are being posted in the Chapter's Facebook page.
- LONDON CHAPTER -
November 21, 2018  – The 2018 UK Alumni event will be held on Wednesday, November 21st 7pm at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London.
- ITALY CHAPTER -
The annual national dinner will take place in November or December. Details will be posted in the Chapter's Facebook page.
- ARIZONA CHAPTER -

Ra’Niece’s story is one of exceptional perseverance. Through CYC’s “Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates”, Ra’Niece earned her HS diploma and participated in Cincinnati Cooks. Given her ambitions of becoming a pastry chef, Ra’Niece is enrolled in Culinary Arts at Cincinnati State and on her way to economic independence.

Training Triples Income!
Baby was forced to give up her studies to help support her family. After successfully completing HOPE’s industrial sewing operator training, Baby got a better job and tripled her monthly salary. She is becoming more financially independent and breaking her family’s cycle of poverty.

Co-Op Expands with New Bakery!
Anastasie, alone and isolated, tended to other peoples’ cows to earn a living for her family. She joined WD4H’s Genda Ugire Utyo (“Go & Do That”) co-op. Today, she is working in the co-op’s collective farming and is happy and confident.

Arlene Golembiewski awarded 2018 National Peace Corps Sargent Shriver Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Service . Arlene is a P&G Alum and founder of Sherbro Foundation (grant recipient). Arlene also received the P&G Alumni Network’s 2017 Humanitarian Award.
