The conference is e xpected to attract more than 400 alumni from every part of the world and will run from October 24-26, 2019 at the prestigious Intercontinental Madrid hotel in the heart of the city. The the me of the conference will be Visionaries of the Future with a host of leading speakers, panelists and networking opportunities.

You can sign in using your LinkedIn account or enter your information manually. One of the benefits of using LinkedIn is that any time you update your information on your LinkedIn profile, it will automatically update your information on the alumni platform. Some alums have highlighted that in using LinkedIn to sign up, they have been warned that they are also giving permission for the Alumni Network to post content to their LinkedIn page. We want to reassure you that the Network will not publish anything on your page other than a welcome to the Network message.  
Coming Soon: Foundation to Announce New Grants!
Another year, another slate of worthy grants! Delivering against an economic empowerment mission across the globe, eight (8) nonprofits will receive funding totaling $150,000. What’s unique is that each grant recipient has a P&G Alum actively engaged and meaningfully involved with their charitable organizations. Grants will be announced in the next few weeks .

South Florida Launches New Chapter
The newly formed South Florida chapter really got into the weed for its inaugural event in February. More than 50 alums and guests came together to network and learn more about the opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs in the fledgling cannabis industry. Top experts from the multi-billion-dollar legal cannabis market provided insights and opinions in an event sponsored by Greenspoon Marder LLC.

Cincinnati Event
The Cincinnati Chapter is inviting you to hear some of P&G's most influential officers speak in the coming months at its P&G Alumni Chapter meetings in 2019. 
The first of three executive sessions in the P&G Speaker Series will feature the president of P&G’s global femcare business, Jennifer Davis, who will speak on Wednesday, March 20 - 6 PM to 8:30 PM, at the American Red Cross Headquarters, 2111 Dana Ave.

Bastein Margerite’s plans to attend university were derailed after the 2010 earthquake. After hearing about Beyond Relief’s computer skills course, she traveled twice a week across rough terrain to gain needed business and computer skills. Today, Bastein Margerite is gainfully employed as a computer center secretary.

Asian Community Alliance: Empowering and discovering the full potential of all Asian ethnic communities through continued education, training and community collaborations.

BeadforLife: Street Business School is expanding & accepting applications to its mobile classroom. If you are an NGO working in Africa, consider applying to their Immersion Workshop .

Beyond Relief International Ministries:   In July, over 170 students graduated with new skills providing the opportunity to improve their financial independence (10x the graduates as our 1 st class in 2013; this year, we have 550 students)!

Cincinnati Youth Collaborative:  Served a record 5,700 students during the recent academic year!
City Gospel Mission:  JobsPlus expands to five (5) high schools with 175 students learning career readiness skills.

Cooperative for Education: Inaugurating its 50 th Computer Center in Guatemala this month, serving 13,000 students in 2019.

HOPE Worldwide:   Computer training at the Ashulia Vocational training centre has helped many women get better paying jobs to support their families.


World Dance for Humanity:  Six rural Rwandan communities now have purpose, pride and a sustainable income, thanks to the P&G Alumni Foundation sponsored businesses!  Thank You P&G Alumni Foundation!

Lauren Thaman and Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson are both currently at P&G Ventures, a start-up studio within P&G. Lauren and MC both started in R&D and now work in Marketing. Both had to learn how to take their functional expertise and grow into new roles and how to lead in undefined spaces.

Mary Carmen (MC) has been with P&G for 21 years and leads a portfolio of consumer health start-ups under P&G Ventures, the company’s brand creation arm. She has led operations, strategy, marketing, end-to-end product innovation and design, licensing, and market roll-out for a range of global $1Bn+ brands, as well as launching new brands.

Lauren Thaman leads communications for P&G Ventures. Working with internal and external experts, innovators and entrepreneurs from around the world, this fast-learning, start-up studio is creating brands in product categories where P&G does not provide solutions today. Affectionately called the Chief Credentialing Officer, Lauren is responsible for strategic communications, influencer marketing and credentialing across all categories in P&G Ventures.

Susan Mboya is the Principal and International Advisor for Navigators Global. In this role, Susan leads Navigators international advisory services leveraging her substantial background in international politics and development including the development of strategies and the implementation of successful political campaigns in Africa and on large scale multi-country
development programs across the Eurasia region. Susan has served in an advisory role to high level government officials, NGOs, C-Suite Executives and local economic and political leaders and was the first lady of Nairobi from 2013 to 2017.

Prior to this, Susan was the President of the Coca-Cola Africa Foundation and also the Group Director for Women's Economic Empowerment with responsibility for Coca-Cola's development programs across the 90 countries under Coca-Cola Eurasia, Africa Group (EAG). In this role Susan led the women’s economic empowerment programs and partnerships, for the Eurasia and Africa markets, under the 5 by 20 program, Coca-Cola's global commitment to economically empower 5 million women by the year 2020. Under her leadership, Coca-Cola empowered over 800,000 women and Susan established a number of key large scale programs and critical strategic partnerships including the E.N.G.I.N.E (Empowering Nigerian Girls in New Enterprises), in partnership with DFID and the Yes Youth Can program partnership with USAID.
